This is an early notification of CMCA's upcoming 100 Man Luncheon. The luncheon is an annual event dedicated to bringing positive male role models into our Head Start centers to enjoy lunch with the kids and engage in a literary development activity.
CMCA is excited to participate in MACA's 2015 Community Action Advocacy Day that will be held on March 3, 2015 at the State Capitol. Our theme this year is "We Are Missouri | Together We Thrive" and our work this year will be around the five elements of poverty. CMCA leaders will be meeting with local legislators and advocating to make our network's legislative priorities a reality.
CMCA will be hosting its 2nd annual Hott Butts BBQ contest in downtown Boonville, MO. Join us Friday for the People's Choice award and all you can eat wings. Teams will compete in all 4 KCBS categories on Saturday with a cash payout of $7,500 on 50 teams. Contact Pamela Beerup at (573) 443-8706 ext. 1030 for registration information.
